Tucson Halloween EventsHAUNTED FUN AROUND TUCSON

HISTORIC WALKING GHOST TOURS: The folks from Lost Souls Paranormal Investigations (think “Ghostbusters”) lead thrill-seekers on a tour of haunted downtown venues. We took the tour two years ago and it creeped us out. We couldn’t sleep without a night light for a whole month. This year, seven old locations and seven new ones have been split into two new tours, which include stops at the Pioneer Hotel, the Z Mansion, The Manning House, Hotel Congress, Santa Rita Hotel and The Historic Train Depot. When: Fridays and Saturdays through March. The west route starts at 7 p.m. Fridays; the east, 7 Saturdays. Tucson Tornabene Theatre @ UA Fine Arts Complex

Tucson TheatreBad puns. Bad jokes. Bad behavior.
With all those bads, it’s hard not to love Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost.”
Arizona Repertory Theatre’s production of the word-happy, often slapsticky romantic comedy revels in all that’s gloriously bad about this play. And all that’s good, too.

Much of this play is ribald humor, and it is rich with clowns who keep the laughs rolling. Javan Nelson’s turn as Costard, one of those clowns, was a beautifully rendered portrait of a young man brimming with innocence and heart. And he was quite funny, too.  Info on the production>>

Bookmans’ Fall Music Series in Tucson

Bookmans’ Summer Music Series was such a success that we’re bringing in a new series for a new season! From Leila Lopez to Chris Holiman, experience the best of Tucson’s music with these intimate, early evening performances, every Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Let’s be honest: not everyone can get out to the clubs like they used to. Or maybe you’re too young to get into the clubs. We think good music is for one and all and that’s why we’ve booked a line-up of Tucson’s best local talent in our stores this fall. Starting September 12th, every week will offer up close and personal performances from local favorites like Al Perry to DIY champion Michael John Serpe. You won’t find a more relaxed or comfortable venue to experience Tucson’s eclectic and thriving music scene.

Welcome to Arizona’s Second Largest City

Tucson (TOO-sahn) is a growing metropolis of 1,000,000 that keeps getting better and better. The city’s geography is a postcard image of cactus forests, rolling hills and awe-inspiring mountains.

Tucson lies in the borderland, a region that blends the cultures of the United States and Mexico, and has a long history of settlement by ancient Native American peoples, Spanish explorers and Anglo frontiersmen.

The weather is mild nearly all the time, just right for all kinds of fun activities.

We think you’ll agree, whether you’re a new visitor or resident, just passing through, or a longtime resident rediscovering hometown treasures, that Tucson is Real. Natural. ArizonaVISIT TUCSON>>
